Dismissed? Like nothing you have to say or do is even worth noticing to others? I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself this morning....

Happy Mother's Day to me :-) Took my mom to the cruise terminal this morning, what a pain it is to find and get to. She's gone for a week, so next Sunday I get to go pick her up. Other then that, B & I went to Sunday Brunch, then went to the Humane Society to see the animals and pet the kitties..I do kinda miss having a pet (no the fish doesn't count)but I don't miss cleaning up after it, or having to buy it food...you know the responsibility aspect of it. I told B that if she could keep the living room clean for a month we could discuss if we'll get a pet. But since she chose to go outside and play rather than clean up, we are off to a slow start.

Took B to the Farmer's Market today, I was hoping to find some green beans, but all I could find was asparagus (Yuck) Well they had these oldies playing quite loudly, and of course I know all the words, so I was walking through the parking lot singing aloud. B turns to me and says "Mom, please don't do that. We're in public." So of course I then sing louder. I can see her blushing out of the corner of my eye, and caught the eye of the random person walking by. I got her even more when I said to the random person "Isn't it fun to embarrass your kids?" (B is 11)
